Background
Ms. Jin was born in the People's Republic of China. She spent
her youth and early adult years in different parts of China,
including Beijing, Xining (Qinhai Province), Fenyang (Shanxi
Province), Nanjing (Jiangsu Province), Guanyun (Jiangsu Province),
and Kaifeng (Henan Province). Prior to becoming a lawyer,
she participated in the theatrical industry in China. She
is a resident of California, while remaining a citizen of
the People's Republic of China.
Professional Experience
Ms. Jin is admitted to practice law in California and
in the People's Republic of China. Her practice focuses on
Sino-American business and economic issues, including international
trade, corporate finance and investment. She provides strategic
counseling to both Chinese and American business enterprises,
especially in areas related to technology, capital markets
and real estate. She also specializes in Chinese economic
law, which includes foreign investment law, corporate, and
securities law, contracts, banking, tax, land use planning,
and intellectual property law.
Ms. Jin has an extensive network of business, government and
media relationships. This network of colleagues, former pupils
and classmates, family members and business partners serves
to facilitate the international business and legal activities
of Ms. Jin's clients on both continents.
Over
the past few years, Ms Jin has participated as counsel, strategic
advisor and/or held executive positions regarding business
projects in the following economic regions of China, among
others: Beijing, Shanghai, Harbin (Heilongjiang Province),
Changchun (Jilin Province), Shenyang (Liaoning Province),
Xian (Shannxi Province), Chengdu (Sichuan Province), Nianjing
(Jiangsu Province), Suzhou (Jiangsu Province), and Shenzhen
(Special Economic Zone).
